The gold interior of this fixture provides a great example of adding a fun accent to your space without being too overwhelming. YES....PLEASE.

Don't be afraid to go bold with a fun-colored light fixture. We love how this light grabs your attention while tying in the green from around the kitchen.

Don't let a rusty antique scare you! A quick layer or two of spray paint can do the trick as you see here with blue-painted metal. We are using this gorgeous milk-glass pendant light for inspiration in our client's modern craftsman kitchen remodel.

We are loving the exposed bulbs on these fixtures! They are a great way to draw interest to your lighting.

Metal light fixtures are on trend right now and it is a look you can potentially achieve without even buying a new light fixture. One of our favorite design hacks is to spray paint light fixtures with metallic spray paint, or hand paint them with liquid metal. Lights are rarely touched so no need to worry about the paint chipping away. The black insides offer some mood and that is a-ok with us!

We love how matte cabinets and natural wood contrast with the shiny copper interior of this fixture. It is always good to play with different textures to add interest to your space.

OK, now that you're inspired it's time to go up your kitchen lighting game! Speaking of kitchens...if yours is pretty darn awful yet you don't want (or can't financially) hire us 1:1 then we have something awesome JUST FOR YOU
