b4 + after : tudor turns scandinavian modern

This client sought us out after seeing a few of our other b4 + after work on our blog. They had been looking for a partner on and off for over a year when they found us. We're taking an iterative approach to transforming their entire main level of their Tudor style home to Scandinavian Modern, which happens to be our favorite aesthetic.

The list includes a new fireplace surround, removing 4 archways to create smooth room transitions, removing an ackwardly-placed kitchen "island", and a new staircase. Depending on how things net out budget-wise we're hoping to tackle a new kitchen and (potentially) new lime-washed floors.

Come back for more pictures in the near future. But for now, here are some before and current progress shots.

Don't forget to check out the design plan for this house.
