olliePop brings a new service to the real estate field, where we combine staging with home renovations. It's our belief that homes requiring staging will also benefit from a bit of a facelift. Each room we touch will be picture-ready when we're done; from staging, to paint and new hardware, to ripping out walls. With our budget-friendly tricks, we focus on key selling points so that homes move fast and with minimal investment.

The fine print: For $200 (usually paid for by the realtor), we review the market analysis with the realtor to ensure our design plan matches the goal sale price and timing. Then we go through the house and provide the homeowner a comprehensive plan (see Tiered Pricing + Timing, below), room by room. The design and construction work is usually paid for by the homeowner, like a typical staging or renovation project.

Tiered Pricing + Timing

Here's what our plans usually entail. We'll handle all the work for you, or for greater savings we're happy to have the homeowner pitch in too. 

 

Option 1 : Staging +

Description : For the budget and time crunched. If your house is in pretty good shape but could use a spruce up in a few key areas, this option is for you. We'll use most of what you have to freshen things up and remove the major pain points putting you below your comps.

What might we do?

  • Stage key rooms using most of what you already have
  • New faucet/s
  • New drawer and door pulls
  • Refresh key lighting
  • Kitchen or bathroom backsplash
  • Paint
  • Update a sore spot, such as swapping out cabinets on a peninsula for open shelving

Cost and Timing : 1 - 2 weeks. $3,000 - $6,000

 

Option 2 : Light Remodel

Description : If the main selling points need more than a fresh coat of paint or you run the risk of sitting on the market, then you'll need to invest in a bit more time and money to bring your house up to the present day. If your kitchen or furniture was last touched 10 years ago, this option is for you.

What might we do?

  • Items in Option 1 : Staging +
  • New countertops
  • Enhance cabinets with paint, crown moulding, etc
  • Add cabinetry such as an island or built-in TV area
  • More new staging items
  • Vanity and/or sink update
  • Facade spruce up such as adding/painting shutters or enhancing landscaping

Cost and Timing : 2 - 4 weeks. $6,000 - $12,000

 

Option 3 : Remodel

Description : Mom's house hasn't been touched since you were a kid? Stuck with a lot of small rooms? Sky is the limit when it comes to remodeling options, so let's make your house stand out from the rest.

What might we do?

  • Items in Options 1 and 2 
  • Open up walls
  • Move plumbing and/or electrical
  • Change layout
  • New tile or wood floors
  • Refinish floors
  • New cabinetry, lighting, interior doors, etc.

Cost and Timing : 4+ weeks$12,000 +
